collecting dust
taking up space
why not re-appropriate for useful tasks

38mm knobby front tire
35mm touring rear
front disc only
trailer hitch out back
now it'll at least get farmers market use
and of course trailering to the playground
maybe some rail trail gravel mileage
or even back up commuter duty
fenders and studded tires this winter are possible

Glad it's made it back into the line up. I hadn't seen many pix of it this summer and wondered if you were just done with fat tires and heavy wooded rides.
commuting usually fills up the week. when the weekend rolls around, its just too damn easy to hit the road without ever needing pack up and drive to the trails. lazy maybe, but my tastes have certainly changed as well.
