she was in and out as I dug. took 3 1/2' of snow to make a pile that large. fairly warm and eerily quiet inside. I can almost lie down in there as well. my finest snow cave ever, but also the first one dug as an adult as well. hopefully they'll be more.

That's rad. Now tell the truth: Evey played in it for a while (maybe 1/16th of the time it took you to build it) and now she's over it.
You still love it and wish she would play in there with you.

They are wicked comfy if one has a proper tarp inside.
