The five thirty am quiet is alluring
Motivation to wake is lacking
But knowing the roads wait empty
Pushes me out of bed
No school buses
No rushing running late commuters
Just long stretches of unlit asphalt
Punctuated by the random barking dog
Few folks are in a hurry at this hour
We’re all just getting where we’re going

Do you still use the Hennesy Hammock? If not, would you consider helping a brother out and sell it not me? If you do, are they all that? A hammock is on my short-list for solo shelters for touring/rando/bike exploration (a la Kent Peterson).
i still have it and haven't used it for years but i think i'm gonna hang onto it. it is comfy in a claustrophobic kind of way but ideally intended for warm climes. nice thing is no need for finding flat ground.
